Yes I have had my share of discrimination. I haven't been able to make friends with non-handicapped young people or they have been younger than me. Before I went to an ordinary school where there were no visually impaired pupils. Now I am on a 10th grade in the  school for visually impaired and all the girls on my class are my friends. It's great!

Hi Johanna,
I read your short witness with interest and I would like to know whether the staff in normal school had been prepared and trained to have you as one of their pupils, not just as somebody to sit somewhere.
